Upon first impressions, A person would turn around and leave this establishment . We had a terrible time just getting in the main Entrance. When we entered the Elevator the Floor was extremly dirty !!! However our room was nice, Clean.... The overall Hotel was OK !!!!

Essentially a motel passing itself off as a hotel.

Pro:
Right in downtown

Con:
- room that doesn't know if it's the 80's or present day. Outdated furnishings.
-Dirty carpets and dirty furniture Crumbs, toe clippings and candy bits in, around and underneath furniture.
- questionable cleanliness of beds. Bed bugs???
-there are 4 elevators but still ended up waiting 10min each time for one
-heater that kept blowing hot air all night no matter if you adjusted the thermostat.
-front desk service is adequate.

I've stayed at both Edmonton Coast hotels and their standards are equally awful. You have much better options like Delta Suites or Matrix. Spend the extra money and get a better hotel, you will not regret it.

Booked for one night via their website (better price than on hotels.com etc.). Room includes a kitchen, full desk/workstation, dining table, separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom (with bath). The room was great - really clean, furniture looked newish and/or well-maintained. I was on the 25th floor - amazing balcony views over Edmonton. Wifi was great. And the service was fabulous - nothing was a problem, everyone was very friendly and helpful, and there is a free shuttle service (to Downtown Edmonton only - I highly recommend going to the Art Gallery).
Extending checkout was no problem.

Definitely recommend! And just take the skyshuttle if arriving from the airport.

We had originally booked for two nights in November but when we arrived in our room decided to move out the following morning. The room was shabby, cigarette burns in most of the furniture, a stale odor, and a lumpy soft mattress. Everything is from 1970, including the kitchen appliances and utensils, and the carpet was dirty. It is the kind of room you would not walk around in your bare feet, or sit in the bathtub. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
