I stayed here because my son was getting surgery done at the Royal Alex Hospital. Choosing this hotel based simply on price and location was the worst thing I have ever done. Our standard double room was only $125 for a medical rate, but I guess you get what you pay for. Our room had hair all over the shower curtains, the floor I was staying on stunk of smoke even though it was a non-smoking floor, and the walls and floors of this supposed newer building are paper thin. You can hear the above unit flush their toilet and map their walking around every inch of the ceiling. Pay the extra $20 and stay at a Delta or an actual hotel and not this knock-off motel.

We have just returned from the Nova Suites on Airport Road, Edmonton, Canada 28th July 2007.
The suite we had was just fantastic! Plenty of room and the huge bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful.
The only drawback was that it was little way out from any nightlife. We did stay downtown for 2 nights during our stay but never again - Nova Suites every time for us!

In Edmonton to visit family for Christmas & New Year. Wanted the facility of a kitchen. Did a bit of searching and landed on Nova Suites. What a good decision that was.
The apartment (402) was huge, clean and comfortable.
The ambience is of home, not of hotel.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good position. Good parking.
Unbeatable.

We travelled for a month in Canada, my wife and I and two children (12) and (9).

The Nova Suites were fantastic! The Two Bedroom apartment was huge (around double the size of any other we stayed in), with two bathrooms, walk in closets, larger well appointed kitchen, and spacious living and dining areas.

The property is located a few blocks from downtown, which can be easily walked.

There is no pool (just a spa), and a small fitness area. The complimentary continental breakfasts are well serviced and we found them to be perfectly adequate.

Service was quiet yet efficient, and with a maximum of four units per floor, the property is not swamped with people everywhere.

Would we stay there again? Absolutely yes. Nova Suites offers great value for money, for short and long term stays.
