What you expect from a Holiday Inn
Pretty good overall, standard breakfast with yogurts, omelettes etc…
In a crappy area, right beside the LRT and train track . .
It was not too loud but some could complain.
In an area with not much to do, there's a Superstore not too far and restaurants on 50th street.

What I like about this hotel:
Restaurants in walking distance
Helpful and friendly front desk

Complimentary pass to the World Health Fitness (Great gym)
Hot breakfast was generous

What I don't like about this hotel:
Location not the best. Far away from Downtown and Airport.
Bed was not really comfortable
Typical choices of soft and firm pillows but they are not as comfortable as other Holiday Inns.

The hotel staff is excellent and the location is decent.
The breakfast is outstanding given it is included. The automatic pancake machine was a blast.
Costco is nearby and several decent restaurants as well.
Amazingly this hotel probably had the best t.v. reception of any I have been to recently, though no HBO.
The biggest downside to the hotel is it is located right next to the train tracks and the trains run all day and night.
I would definitely stay there again :) but next time I will be bringing earplugs.

This hotel was ok. The person at the front desk was not the sharpest knife in the drawer but that's really the only thing I could say negative about the service. The morning breakfast was great! Good ladies in the kitchen areal.
If you are here on business it's not a bad place. If you are here and want to do anything like go to the mall or any of the nice places in town, for the extra $40 bucks, stay downtown.

We stayed at this hotel for one month due to a move back to Edmonton from overseas. The staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was generous offering bacon/sausage eggs as well as a pancake machine. Rooms were clean, modern and well maintained. Cleanliness was obviously a priority as there was an evening cleaning/maintenance staff who kept elevators and common areas (including pool) spotless. The small pool area was clean and well maintained. The pool area also includes a hot-hub. The hotel is ideal situated to amenities (many stores and many restaurants) . Overall a very enjoyable stay thanks to great staff and a well maintained facility. Recommended to those moving for long or short stays alike.
