I won my stay at the Hotel Selkirk and will go back. It's a charming period hotel nestled within the grounds of Fort Edmonton Park. Peaceful and relaxing within the bustle of the city. The staff are dressed in period costume and some take on the role of the folks who roamed the hallways during the hotel's hayday.
The clawfoot tub and teddy bear no my pillow won me over. The room was small but very comfortable, clean and well maintained.
Dinner was a treat. During the day you can go through the park and enjoy whatever there is to offer on the day. During the evening looking outside you feel you've stepped back in time.
