My partner and I stayed here during our train trip across Canada. The price was excellent, and the location worked well for traversing the city by public transit. The UofT Campus is gorgeous, and in walking distance of some great places to eat and shop. The centre was quiet when we visited, giving us the run of the place. Our room was a typical hotel style, and always clean. There was a laundry room down the hall which was quite handy as well. The only confusion was with breakfast, which was included in the price. It wasn't very clear what was included from the cafeteria selections, and the staff never seems to be sure either. That was just a minor point though really.

“Great room and great price”

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting our daughter who is studying at Univ. of Alberta for a year. Room was huge, clean and comfortable, staff constantly helpful and plenty of student type snack places if you felt peckish. Although it's a bit of a trek to get "downtown" public transport is cheap and very clean and there are plenty of above average eateries on Whyte Avenue. Highly recommended
