We went to edmonton for the Prince concert. After 6 hours of driving, we thought it will be nice to get into our room and have a shower and relax for a bit. Soon as we got into the room we knew we made a mistake. But, stayed because Rexall was across the street. The bathroom was less than mediocre and our tv wasn't even working. After repeated attempts to phone the front desk, we finally got a new tv...mind you after 45 minutes when the lady at the desk said "we will send our maintenence right up". That night it was so loud. It sounded as though we were right above the club. Which we were not. Then just before 9 am the chamber maids were trying to clean the room. We asked what time check out was, just so they would get the hint. The maid replied,"10 am" I thought that was awfully early. Not only did the maid have he wrong check out time (which I think an employee should know) she knocked on our door three more times before 10. When we went down to check out my mother asked the clerk when check out was (being 10 am is so strange, we did find out it was 11) she didn't seem to appologize for the maids rude behaviour. TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY NEVER AGAIN.

I was in Edmonton for a trade show , the hotel's location was perfect !!!!! Very happy with the two min walk to the train station and trade show's location .The staff were helpful and freindly . I stayed on the sixth floor and was very happy with the room and its surprisingly low rate. i would definitely stay again . you dont have to stray far to find most amenities ,lots of restaurants and everything including downtown is only a $8-$12 cab ride away which was nice as i was there for 3 nights. my room was clean and cosy , i was quite happy : ) .see you next time

Stayed at the Coliseum Inn on a business trip recently. The lobby was very clean, and the staff were very polite and helpful when needed. My room looked recently renovated, and the bed was VERY comfortable! I enjoyed my stay, short but sweet, and will return again in the future.

The hotel staff was very polite. I was in Edmonton on business, in the north. The location was great and the first 2 nights were fine. On a wednesday night, the music from the bar was so loud i put a cup with water in it, on the bathroom counter and it would ripple. \keep in mind I was on the 5th floor. I called, twice, and went down to the front desk, and was told she would talk to them. The only relief was for about 10 minutes around 1:00. For a lounge that closes at midnight, they can't tell time. I didn't have a reno'd room. The bathroom sink was cracked and the shower had wallpaper on the ceiling, that was lifting, but it was clean.
