Overall, the hotel is not comparable to others nearby; overall not clean; there is good service in Breakfast nook; very poor communication skills at front desk; the attached Chinese restaurant had Health Unit issues (then shutdown for clean-up); inconsistent quoting of rates; internet service "fades", (poor quality); low class bar facility attached; overall standards not consistent with other Comfort Inn properties; If it is price only one seeks, there is better value for "family" stays.

Had made reservations at another rental facility but when i arrived they weren't able to follow through on their promises.
Left me in the lurch. Walked into Comfort Inn and Suites and was thrilled with the treatment.

Rooms were clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the place.
The price was great and everything was much better than I had expected.

Coming south from the NWT for Christmas and New Year's, my dog and I stayed once again at the Comfort Inn and Suites. Excellent hotel to stay .. close to the downtown core .. polite, friendly and accommodating staff .. very clean hotel and rooms .. reasonably priced and pet friendly .. I could not ask for more. The staff are always busy cleaning or fixing things .. it gives one the impression that they genuinely take pride in the hotel and care about how things appear to their guests.
Something I should mention .. the restaurant downstairs is NOT part of the hotel .. and even though I have gone there a couple times because of convenience .. each time I have regretted it!

The staff were great here, they were very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had.
We stayed here for two nights in January and were happy with the accommodations.

Note: We did switch rooms upon arrival, we initially had a room with 1 Queen that overlooked the indoor pool, and the windows did not open. The heating system controls the entire hotel so you can't adjust the temperature in your room. When we first arrived the room was over 26 degrees, and we cannot sleep in such heat. We called the front desk, and within five minutes we were given a new room with a window that opened up to the street below.

The new room had two double beds, and a window that could open for which we were VERY grateful. We were able to keep the room quite comfortable when we were sleeping at night.

The size of the room was great, the cleaning service was really good each day, and the beds/pillows were quite comfortable as well.

We were given tickets to the complimentary breakfast each morning but since we were visiting family we spent our breakfasts elsewhere. It looked nice from what I could see!

I've definitely stayed in fancier places, but this was clean, comfortable, and an excellent location. I would stay there again when going to visit family for sure.
