I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and overall I have no complaints. I opted for the "no housekeeping" in exchange for 500 SPG points. It was a great option for those who aren't staying long and I'm pleased to see a hotel so progressive when it comes to the environment and energy. The food was expensive, but not more than any other same-class hotel. There are many places to eat within walking distance as it's centrally located. The staff was incredibly friendly and everything was quite fast. They were quick to accomodate a price discrepancy between our group of 10. The gym is decent, and open 24hours. They also have an indoor pool and sauna. I travel to Edmonton often for business and this hotel is my first choice if available.

We had an extremely enjoyable meal at the Share during the Robbie Burns weekend at the Westin. Don and Eddie were our servers. Very professional yet extremely good humoured. Don kept making slight suggestions...of course we had to take them! We had appetizers and meals from the Robbie Burns menu. The haggis was specatular! We were there for about 2 hours and enjoyed every minute, from sitting by the cozy fireplace to the great service. The portions were realistic in size (such a nice change from family restaurants)! We found the prices reasonable for fine dining. Less than $100.00 for two people including appetizers, meals and a dessert and 2 glasses of wine each. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Westin Edmonton for almost a week over the Christmas Holidays and also booked several events at the Hotel. The Hotel is centrally located, based on the assumption that the centre of Edmonton is downtown and not West Edmonton Mall. The rooms are spacious and the beds and linens are comfortable, although I do not like the mini-pillows they provide. The staff is friendly and accommodating, particularly when it came to granting us a lengthy extension on check out on account of our plane being delayed. It was nice being close to Sir Winston Churchill Square as it is a light rapid transit stop and also the centre of the Winter Festival that started on December 31st. In the Summer you are close to the river and Edmonton's wonderful trail system for bikes. The rates and value is good the only reservation being the hefty price they (as most downtown hotels do) charge for parking.

This place is luxury living with downtown location, excellent food but pricey so watch out. There are several great restaurants in the area (Try the deep fired pickles at the Sherlock Holmes across the road)
The elevators are fast, the rooms are clean, that bathrooms are up to date, the showers are amazing, and very close to the train as well as a bus ride from the mall.
They have a program there as well that gives you 5 dollars back every day that you don't need cleaning in your room.

Couple downfalls: wireless is $$, airport is 45-50 cab ride away.
