...but there is nothing new about the room I stayed in, in fact, the room I stayed in looked like it hadn't been used in about 30 years. I covered their dirty looking bed cover with sheets I had brought myself in case of that exact situation, but the overall effect was still like being in a very poorly maintained Motel room. I had an argument with the Motel Manager on my last night, where the manager, who also appeared drunk, more or less tried to start a fist fight with me over the fact he did not want to return a 20 dollar key deposit to me late that night. I had asked him to then due to me planning on leaving at 5am the following morning making it awkward to get my key deposit back at such an early morning time. I ended up getting my 20 bucks only after giving the manager my room key that night, meaning I had no way of leaving my room that evening. Nice guy. I also discovered a black colored mold in the small storage area under the bathroom sink and there was damage to the bathroom door. Depressing. I should have stayed at The Derrick Motel next door. There was a Dennys restaurant within walking distance from the Motel-three cheers for Dennys.
