I got a great last minute deal on a room here ($50!!) and the hotel itself and the lobby were very nice and modern. My room was at the back of the hotel which faces (and is honestly footstep away from) the rail line. The trains ran all night and I unfortunately didn't get a wink of sleep.
Otherwise the location is excellent, right near South Edmoton Common and access to the freeway. The parking lot is huge, expect a fair walk with your bags or stop first to check in without them. Parking is free however, so I guess one shouldn't complain. I would not stay here again unless I could be guaranteed in advance a room on the front of the hotel and away from the tracks.
Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the building.
