Stayed for 2 nights, very affordable, AAA rate was 111.00 for a king size room, can't go wrong with that. Room was clean but could use a bit of upkeep.
Told the front desk that we were in town to celebrate my bday and they sent up some chocolate covered fruits, was a very nice touch.
I think we have found our place to stay when we drive down to Edmonton

Second time staying at Sawridge, first was good, second I was disappointed. Tub was dirty, coffee maker too dirty to use. Next time I will drive a little further.

Overall, really great value. The only downside was that you aren't allowed to leave your pet unattended in the room. We solved the problem by taking advantage of room service... high quality and reasonably priced. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had another great stay at the Sawridge in December. Stayed for 6 nights. Coming out of the NWT for shopping, the hotel is close to South Common and with the overpasses finshed it is easier getting in and out of South Common now. We stayed in a Jr Suite which hads two queens in separate rooms, which is great for snoring couples...lol. The breakfast buffet comes with the room price and suprsingly it is really good. Most buffets are awful at hotels but there was lots of fresh fruit and hot eggs, bacon, etc. This is our regular stop for shopping trips south

If you're looking for a nice, clean, non-smoking room in Edmonton for you and your furballs, I highly recommend trying out the Sawridge. It's now our first choice when in the Edmonton area.
