We stayed here in October.......after we found the hotel......there two holiday inns with very similar names.........When we inquired at the check in about the confusion alll we received was a kurt "You are at the right hotel!" However we did notice that the staff were answering the phones differently to the actual name of the hotel....go figure! Otherwise good holiday inn standard hotel.

We stayed overnight in the middle of a snowstorm. The room was clean, comfortable and warm - so warm we kept the window open all night long so we could breathe. No matter how low I put the thermostat it didn't change the room temp. The beds were very comfortable.The pool and hot tub were clean and nice to use. , good temperatures. Breakfast was fine - waffle machine was out of order. The 5 min drive to WEM took us 20 mins in the snowstorm but there was no crowds inside. For $137. plus tx for 3 adults it was a good choice for us.

Fairly nice HIX, elevator is useless when hotel is busy. 7/10

We often stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels when travelling (which is often, usually once or twice a month), and I have always found the service and facilities to be excellent. We stayed at the Mall location once before, with no complaints, but we had a horrible experience this time around.

The reservation we made was for a King Room, for 6 nights. When we arrived, we were told that we had a Queen room. We were tired, and took the room. The sink was broken, and the room smelled like cigarettes. When we asked the Front Desk to change our room and they were incredibly rude (very surprised, staff is usually very helpful and polite). It seemed strange to me that that they were not willing to help us out, given the length of our stay. We checked out after the first night, and relocated to the Chateau Nova.

I will not return to this location.
