“Great friendly accommodating staff”

I stayed here for a bit over a month i stayed in some of the dorm rooms until i moved upstairs into a private room. The staff are awesome and so friendly and help out with anything you need. There is a communal kitchen, tv room and library, all great places to hang out and meet new people and get ideas of places to go. Some of the staff organise trips or activities to do like soccer in the park.
The rooms are very comfortable and they are in the process of renovating them all which looks great so far. They keep the place very clean, someone is cleaning everyday and i think it was like every second day that they changed the sheets. One of the staff even helped me to join an ice hockey team!
Really great experience and i met some really great people.

Room Tip: If you can, get one of the renovated rooms because they look great!

“Go Backpackers - awesome”

MY cousin, Aunt and I landed unexpectedly in Edmonton and after talking to a lovely lady in teh Tourist advice office, we were directed to Go.
The welcome we received was really friendly and courteous. The hostel had not been open for long, so there were still some building works happening, but they were not noisy nor did we feel as though we were in a building site.

The rooms was spacious, clean and well looked after with an ensuite bathroom. For a 'hostel' we felt as though we were in a hotel, which I believe the property was in a former life. We had a room to share, so no dorms and it was reasonabley priced.
Check out was easy and the bar downstairs was again friendly and efficient. For my Aunt, it was her first experience of a hostel and thankfully it was very positive (we would have heard a bout it if it wasn't!!!)

We actaullty travelled in July 2009 but there is no opetion for that on the form and I have not had a chance to write a review before. Sorry Go!
