First of all I've stayed at this hotel many times before and had never had any problems. On our last stay while checking out, the front desk girl and on-shift manager were very rude and did NOT help us out in any way!!! My credit card had been charged for the full 4 nights we stayed and I was simply asking for a receipt and I'd be on my way. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way, the front desk girl insisted my credit card had only been pre-authed so I phoned my credit card company and they told me that no it was not a pre-auth that it was a charge. I told her that but she argued with me telling me that the credit card company doesn't know what their talking about???!!!! After the 2nd call to my cc company she called out the manager who also started arguing with me in front of all the other guests trying to check out. I said I would call the cc company once more to prove to them (in a back office) that it was in fact charged to my cc. After the manager confirmed it was a charge she quickly apologized and tried to give us coupons to stay again!! My husband and I stormed out of there after trying to for 55 mins to explain that we paid!!! Will spend our money elsewhere next trip to Edmonton!! And we're there at least 4 times a year!

Nice property that's close to the West Edmonton Mall. But was a bit difficult to find because 100th Ave is a one-way street. Nice, large breakfast area, but the waffle maker was not working. The waterpark advertised on the hotel's Web site is not a waterpark. Its simply a waterslide and a waterfall unbrella. Pool that the waterslide empties into is not large enough for simply swimming. First room we were checked into had a non-functioning door lock and the drain cap in the tub was broken. Although we were moved to another room, we would have expected to have been offered an upgrade or something for the inconvinience.

We stayed here for the night back in November It was very nice, has a good breakfast and good customer service. The pool does need Work, but when I emailed the manager he told me they were planning rents right away. This is a very good value hotel, close to the mall and easy drive to the recall centre.

My husband and I (and extended family in another room) stayed at the Wingate by Wynham for one night this first week in January. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive to West Edmonton Mall.The hotel was exceptionally clean, the front desk staff were polite, helpful and friendly! The rate came with free HOT breakfast, free wifi, free parking, pool and hottub. Our room had a microwave and small fridge. I had trouble with the wifi and printing my document, and the desk clerk helped me right away. It really was a great stay despite the fact we in Edmonton for a family funeral. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone any time. Thank you, Leslie
