We usually stay downtown Calgary but this Hampton Inn is well located with easy access to C-train and highways. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is free underground parking and the breakfast buffet was fresh and lots of variety. All this for the price of a room.

I've stayed here a couple of times now and feel that the hotel is generally excellent and meets the Hampton Inn's level of standards in most ways except for the rooms decor - it is outdated. The location has easy access to downtown and the underground parking during Calgary winter is a plus. I found the staff are always helpful and friendly providing excellent information when requested.

Secured underground parking is a definite bonus to this hotel. Elevator is also secured by keycard. There are several hotels next door as well as several restaurants. Not the nicest part of town but is close to the University. Room was clean, and came with a DVD player. There is a machine in the parking lot that allows you to rent a movie so the DVD player actually got some use. Breakfast was hot, & decent selection.
Friendly staff, smooth check-in. Only complaint would be that the maids were very noisy early in the morning no need to shout to each other down the hall.

I stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites for just one night. I had a conference the next morning where they weren't serving breakfast. The selection for the continental breakfast included in the room price (including eggs, ham, bagels, waffles, fruit & yogurt) absolutely hit the spot. Plus, I took my tea to go in a handy to-go cup provided. Underground parking was much appreciated, and it was only a 15 min drive downtown, even in rush hour. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. All in all, great value.
