We were put up here by westjet due to flight problems. Was so convenient being withing walking distance. Room was great. Old CRT tv but it worked fine. Shower was good. Water saving but good coverage none the less. Didn't have to worry about shuttles in the morning which was the best thing!! Location location!!

We stayed here both before and after our flights to/from Central America and were very pleased with the service. The hotel is clean and the food is great. It is nice to walk in late at night and be able to have good food in the lounge (kids are welcome). Check the Delta Hotels website as there may be deals that include stay and parking. The beds are comfy and I love the June Jacobs toiletries that they provide!

One thing this hotel has advantage over others is its location, you only need to cross the bridge from the main terminal to get to this hotel. Staff is friendly, no compliant there. However, the room that I was in, as well as the lobby area, was really dated and tired looking, felt like I was in a time warp, and can't wait for the renovation to be complete. However, I also noticed the wall between rooms was quite thin, as I could hear the coughing from my neighour. I am not sure if the renovation can solve this problem. The gym was adequate, but cramped. Oh, and no wifi in the room, hope that's part of the renovation as well.

We stayed here before catching a plane. This is a very convenient choice at the airport. But for $230, we'd expect better.

Pro's

1. Convenience: Located right in the airport, you can't get better than this.

2. Pool: Can be fun with kids. Hot tub as well.

Con's

1. Not clean: Our room was not very clean, most noticeably no vacuuming had ever occurred along the walls. This is what we noticed, so what else was not clean?

2. Size: Room was small, but the bathroom was microscopic.

Conclusion:

Really we'd expect better from this 4 star sibling in the Fairmont chain. Not cheap. Not clean. But convenient.
