I've stayed at a number of different hotels in the Calgary airport area and this would not be my first pick. First time at this hotel, likely the last, but sometimes they do offer more compelling rates (understandably), hence why I ended up here. The hotel is old, funny smells, and the worst was to have kitchen smells through the ventilation duct in my bedroom (on the 6th floor) all evening until about 11pm. I felt like all my clothes were going to smell like a greased kitchen by the next morning. The neighborhood and their parking area is not inviting either, especially at night. I left too early to take advantage of breakfast. The staff was very friendly.
