We stayed here during a flight stopover. We were not expecting a lot since it was an airport hotel. The rooms were not beautiful, but the hotel was very clean and the service was GREAT! We were very impressed with the food in the restaurant. All of the servers we had were fantastic. The sunday morning brunch buffet was one of the better breakfast buffets I have had. This restaurant had no trouble providing gluten free options (offering to cook from scratch). The pool/ whirl pools were very clean and relaxing. This was a great choice for a stopover/break from the airport!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was amazing as was the restaurant. The staff was polite and courteous.

I stayed here for one night while on a business trip in late May 2009.

There were random stains on the wall in my room, the decor in the lobby was the latest that the 1970's had to offer, there were exactly two pillows to choose from, there was no morning newspaper, the restaurant service was grumpy, and the breakfast buffet was missing altogether...and this place was not exactly cheap!

On the positive side, the bed was reasonably comfy, the front desk service was efficient, the hotel is close to the airport (watch out for a grumpy taxi driver if you choose to cab it here), and the wireless internet was included in the price and functioned reasonanly well.

As a business traveler I've had trouble finding a good hotel near the airport in Calgary, and now I know that the Greenwood is not the answer either.

I used to stay at this hotel frequently but am finding that the cost is increasing while the cleanliness, upkeep, and staff friendliness seem to be declining. The lady taking my reservation seemed almost perturbed that I was doing this at 10pm! I would probably stay here again only because it is in a very accessible location close to the airport and has a efficient shuttle service to the airport.
