I like this hotel, the location is in North Calgary near many head offices and the airport - it should be noted however that this hotel is not a great choice if you are needing to work downtown. It's a fair distance to downtown and not really close to transit and whatnot. This is a hotel that you really need to have a car for. It's a great choice though if your are overnighting before / after a flight.
Hotel is very clean, staff are friendly and the renovated rooms are really quite lovely. I like the location, it's near several good places to eat on a wide variety of price levels from a good steak to a pretty decent burger all within a five to ten minute drive. There are also some good places within walking distance. The neighbourhood is safe, with mostly businesses and gas stations in the area. As a lone female traveller I have not ever felt uncomfortable in this hotel.
Amenities are good, the pub fare at Henry's is reasonably priced and of medium to high quality. I find the bistro however to be rather expensive for what you get but that's normal in most hotels.
My one general dislike of this hotel is the parking, while the lot is sizeable if you go for dinner you will be parking well away from the hotel and it's a pain in the neck in the morning to load all your stuff in. There isn't great accessibility.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in North Calgary or near the airport.

Had to stay overnight at the Sheraton while in town for business. While the Rooms were nice, the restaurants and lounges were just OK. I would stay there again if i needed to but for the accomodations, would just as soon stay at a less expensive hotel in the area.

25$ need to pay if you want emptied the mini bar!!!
Forget to park your car Fri. Sat. , it will be full.Do they car??? no!!!!!
Upper level( more $$) the breakfast is the same everyday!!! scramble and sausage!!!!
Customer service, same level as super 8 motel!!!
Want an advice? stay away from this hotel!!!!
oh! ask for laundry, and they will put staples on!!!!

This place is in a great location. Staff are friendly and very accomdating. Only complaint is housekeeping knocking and waking us up at 9am, on the day we were checking out. Generally housekeeping shouldn't come on check out day until after you checkout. So I didn't put the do not disturb sign, so we were a bit annoyed by the unnecessary wake up.
