Used this hotel for a nap before our 2am airport arrival.

Our truck was safe and well cared for at a very reasonable rate. $30 above ground for the week we were gone. Shuttle to the airport was pleasant and on return we called the hotel to let them know we were back. The shuttle was not due for 45 minutes so we were instructed to take a cab to the hotel and they paid for it

The only thing I would like changed would be a late arrival rate. we pulled into town at 9pm and they knew we were only staying til 2am but wanted to keep our truck there but we still had to pay full room rate. I never did nap as the room we had was next to the elevator and I heard every trip it made

When you here Best Western, you think quality. This hotel is one of the lower standards in the Best Western line of hotels. It is still nice, but keep that in mind.
The hotel looks old from the outside, but is nicer on the inside. It has a coffee shop, a gift shop, a bar and a restaurant. There were other common areas for group gatherings and a few board rooms.
If you decide to park underground, bring your bags into the lobby at checkin. There is no elevator from the parkade, only tiled stairs up to the lobby level. I believe there were elevators to every other floor in the hotel. Parking is free with your stay.
The Water Park is so neat. There is a wading pool for tots complete with a little waterslide, waterfall, and lights that they go crazy for. There are 2 full-sized waterslides, 2 hot tubs and a decent sized swimming pool. It was the highlight of the stay.
We had a ‘Cabana’ Room. It’s a fun idea. Cabana Rooms have a patio that opens into the Water Park. The patio has a table and 4 chairs. If you’re concerned about our little ones getting into the pool if they escape the room, don’t worry. Best Western thought of that. The door that opens into the pool area has a child lock feature, after that there are about 10 stairs to get up to the pool entrance where you are met with a gate that would be very difficult for a child to open.
The drawback to having a Cabana Room is that it’s an indoor Water Park, and you don’t have a window to outside open air. The whole room smelled of chlorine. It was very difficult to breath. If you have any sort of breathing problems, do not get one of these rooms. There is an air conditioning unit in the room which helps a little bit, but it is still not suitable for anyone with Asthma or allergies. Other rooms would not have this problem. Otherwise the room was clean with plenty of towels and everything that a standard Best Western would have. The theme of the room was tropical. It was cute.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 times in the last year. We had such a nice experience the first time we went a second. We stayed here once for the Calgary marathon and once for a family trip to the zoo. The rooms are nice and modern, they are quiet and clean. Our kids love the water park. The water park is smaller than it looks in pictures but it suited us just fine. Our room the first time was right by the elevator so we asked to be moved because I had to get up early to run the marathon the next morning and I was afraid I would hear the elevator all night. They moved us with no problem. The second time we stayed our room smelled so strongly of pine sol we thought they must have been trying to cover something up. I should have asked to move to another room but I didnt. I recommend this hotel.

Hotel is fine , the problem is trying to get to the hotel from the airport.
The shuttle had promised that they run every half hour , but we waited outside at the airport for almost an hour . Unacceptable. We won't be staying there again
