I am ashamed that I have not managed to write this review until now. We stayed in mid-Sept and had a fantastic visit. We splurged and did the King Cabin and I would 100% do it all over again. The room was not luxurious by a booming city's standards, but it was perfect, rustic luxury for the mountains. The view was spectacular and the staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. We canoed, hiked with one of their guides to Larch Valley and dined there each morning and night. The food was simply delicious. We could not have asked for more in location, lodging, ambiance and food. We will be back.
A few things to point out...
-The property is quite hilly, so not sure how easy it would be to navigate for someone who does not get around easily.
-The crowds were atrocious on the weekend. We generally enjoyed the property early in the morning and then left and did other things and came back to our little piece of heaven when the other people had left!!!
-Make sure you know what you are doing when you build a fire. We smoked ourselves out a couple of nights ;-)
