We stayed in the Honeymoon suite to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. The room was nice with a balcony overlooking the lake area. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet after the crowds left Really felt like you had the place to yourself! The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Of all the places we stayed this was by far our favorite and we will return and stay longer next time. The breakfast in the morning was not to be missed and afternoon tea/coffee was another relaxing touch. Overall, an amazing place that we will return to next time we visit the area!

The views and atmosphere at this lodge is fantastic. Dinner was also spectacular.

We visited in June of 2011 and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to the Banff/Lake Louise area. We stayed in a deluxe king room and it was fabulous. Moraine Lake is stunning - much nicer than Lake Louise, even. While it is a fairly touristy area, somehow they've managed to make the lodge feel quaint. The restaurant is fantastic (pricey but we like to splurge at least once while on vacation). Would love to go again!

Moraine Lake Lodge is located in of the most beautiful locations in all of the Canadian Rockies. We stayed for two nights in September in a deluxe cabin. The cabins themselves are quite small but come with a great wood burning fireplace, which is cleaned and restocked with logs daily, a small sofa and armchair and balcony. They are not five star deluxe but rustic and clean and you are paying for the location here more than anything. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant and the quality of the cooking was excellent. If you stayed for more than a couple of nights you would probably like to drive to Lake Louise to try some other restaurants though. Also, Kevin, the on-site naturalist, was very good and you should definitely attend one of his guided hikes, which are free to residents.
