“First Time in the Rockies”

Rocky Mountain B&B was a wonderful first time welcome to the Rockies! Intimate, with a lots of character it was a great place to come home to after a day's explorations. My travelling companion who has a disability also felt very welcome and all his requests were well-received although the B&B is not physically accessible. The breakfasts were ample and scrumptious, the rooms were cozy and pristine and the common area is inviting. I would definitely recommend a stay there and will look forward to returning on my next trip to Banff.

Room Tip: If your'e travelling with a disability or like your privacy I'd recommend a room with an ens...

“Lovely two-day get-away stay!”

We're from Edmonton and had a wonderful get-away stay at the Rocky Mountain B & B. Nice location, two blocks from the main street. Very homey feel, friendly accommodating staff. Rooms were comfortable and very clean, with a nice shower/bathroom.Breakfasts were excellent (we appreciated that the coffee was locally sourced in Canmore), with a lovely view of the town and mountains. We even saw some deer on the street while we were having breakfast! Homey and friendly feel to the place. We highly recommend it!

Hi there - thanks so much for your great review! We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We aim for a cozy, homey feel with our guesthouse and many people let us know that the Rocky Mountain B&B is their "home away from home"! We try to source our coffee and everything else as local and fresh as we are able to - thanks for noticing! Hope to see you again soon.

“we went with a small group; it was fantastic”

We went off season, which was actually wonderful as the area was not so crowded with tourists
Being at the bed and breakfast was the perfect mini-retreat for our group; we had the chance to be very productive in a cozy environment, starting the day with a delicious and copious breakfast. Every morning, we took a nice short walk to our work space enjoying the landscape.
Being close to a great selection of restaurants and shops, it was extremely convenient.
At night, it is very quiet, so we all had a chance to restore and be ready for the next morning's meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Room Tip: There are different types of rooms and the staff is most helpful in helping you decide the room for...

Thank you very much for your review! We're so glad to hear you had a good experience as a small group - the Rocky Mountain B&B is a perfect place for a small-group retreat. We can sleep up to 25 people and our rates always include our delicious hot breakfast. We are happy to host small groups who can rent rooms or the entire B&B. As you mentioned, we are in a great location in the centre of Banff. We're very happy to hear you went out and took advantage of our amazing pedestrian location! Hope to see you again soon.

Hi - thank you for your review! We're really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our staff thrive on giving guests a wonderful experience! We are still the only B&B in town to serve a hot breakfast so we're happy you liked the food as well - we are very proud of our famous breakfasts! Looking forward to seeing you next time!

“comfy cozy home away from home.”

The Rocky Mountain B&B is my home away from home. It offers a comfy, warm, inviting, relaxing atmosphere with a delicious breakfast! I feel like I am at the cottage. It offers several different room styles and can accommodate single, double and family occupancy. The beds are soft, the coffee is fresh, the rooms are clean, and the staff are accommodating and friendly. It is located close to the downtown area, as well as, hiking trails.

Thank you for your great review of the B&B! We're particularly glad you liked our beds. We take pride in having comfortable beds - most of our guests make a point of letting us know they enjoyed them. All our duvets are the same duvets they use at the Royal York Hotel, a luxury hotel in Toronto, ON, and our duvet covers are custom-made for the B & B. We love our convenient location too! Just a few quick steps to all Banff has to offer. Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon!
