Our cabin was perfect (pine chalet, one of the less expensive ones). It had everything we needed - king size bed, kitchen, and wood burning stove that kept the whole place nice and toasty. Our dogs were even greeted with their own pet beds, bowls and cookies. It had been snowy and cold, so one staff member even gave me a tube of paw wax so their feet would be more comfortable walking outside. The train is close by, and goes by quite often, but we thought it was cool, and added to the "cabin in the woods" experience. If you don't like it, wear earplugs. I did, but more because my dogs snore :)
