We go to Banff every year stayed in lots of hotels BUT this hotel is loooooovely, 9/10

I would just like to let everyone know just how wonderful the Caribou Lodge is, we have just had 7 nights there celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, we have stayed there before in 2006 and 2007 and have never been disappointed, the rooms are very clean and comfortable they have everything you would need, free use of the spa, gym and steam room, free underground heated parking, laundry facilities. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and welcoming It is nice to look around a hotel and see ever member of staff smiling and happy to help in any way they can whether it’s the reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, room attendants or kitchen staff everyone is happy. We were lucky enough to be shown one of their newly renovated rooms, they look fantastic so can’t wait to try one out next time.
We ate at the Keg morning and night the food was 1st class, the best steak you could ever imagine and always cooked to perfection, my son likes his steak blue and it is hard to find somewhere that understands what a blue steak is let alone get it right. I have allergies to certain foods and that was no problem at all a member of staff came with a book that had all the ingredients in for everything they do so ordering was made easy and trouble free the staff couldn't do enough to make sure my food was just as I wanted. Top marks to the chefs!!!.
My only disappointment with the trip was having to leave but next time I am in Banff I will be definitely be staying at the Caribou Lodge and eating at the Keg. Keep up the good work everyone and we will see you next time.

Banff Caribou is situated at the top of the main high street, so walking distance it's only 5-10 minutes, to the main centre, but outside enough, that it's not noisy. Room was clean, not amazing, but with Banff prices you don't get too much for your money. No complaints that said though. Reception staff very friendly and helful. Restaurant does a nice buffet breakfast, whcih at first we thought was a little pricey, but when you add a drink and a breakfast together, doesn't work out to be too much more to have the buffer and all you can eat and drink. It is also a price we found in most places whilst touring through the rockies. No safe in the room, that was my main disappointment. Banff is beutiful, with plenty to do around. Visit the Banff Gondala, beutiful views.

Stayed here for three nights in september 2009, whilst on a tour of western Canada. This hotel was as good as any we stayed at and the breakfast was the best on the trip. I would recomend this hotel to anyone planning staying in Banff.
