We always have an amazing time in Banff and our stay at the Banff Springs hotel was no exception. We spent an afternoon at the Willow Stream Spa and we both said that the massages we got were the best we'd ever had. The spa has such an amazing setup and the pools are great. The change rooms and the waiting areas are all geared towards relaxation! The location of the hotel is fabulous with great views all around. Walking through the hotel is a fun experience as it does remind me of a castle in the mountains, complete with staircases, ballrooms and antique furniture. The rooms are great and the beds very comfortable. I would recommend a stay at the Banff Springs!

This beautiful old Castle couldn't be in a more perfect spot. Our room was facing the mountain which is not the favoured valley view but every restaurant, ballroom, pool etc is facing the Bow Valley anyway. We loved our room and the staff was awesome. From the cleaning staff who sang for us at night (we were there at Christmas) to the head chefs and waiters, all were very gracious and glad to help. We stayed 3 days and I was luxuried out. There is actually lots to see and do in and around the Hotel so we only walked into town on 1 day. My daughter, 8yrs old, enjoyed the Kids Day Camp so much she hugged the staff every time we bumped into them around the Hotel. Never did we have a meal that we didn't thoroughly enjoy. We'll be back in spite of the cost. (Nothing is cheap as you can imagine)

We stayed here for five days in early Feb 2012 and loved every second of our vacation. The weather was amazing – loads of snow and sunshine – as skiers we could have been happy staying almost anywhere, but that doesn't mean we didn't appreciate the Banff Springs. Warm, friendly, staff, lots of great choices as far as dining, walking distance to the town of Banff and the outdoor hot spring pool and indoor swimming facilities were excellent. We loved exploring this old CP Hotel and even downloaded a 'ghostfinder' app. Highly recommended.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We stayed here for 10 nights on the Gold Floor and words cannot describe the excellent service that we got from all members of staff. In particular the staff on the Gold Floor, who were very attentive and made us feel as if we were the only people on that floor.

We got married whilst staying there and used the services of a local wedding co-ordinator and photographer who work closely with the hotel and again the service cannot be faulted. What an amazing day we had getting married outside in temperatures of -30. Amazing.

On the run up to the wedding the staff on the Gold Floor were amazing, they helped with every minor detail including when my husband required to see a dentist urgently. This hotel has so much history and character to it with outstanding views all around.

We used the pool facilities which again are 1st class, everything you need was there and to top it all this hotel is spotless.

On the Gold Floor, breakfast is included and is served in the lounge. The selection and standard of food was brilliant, along with the service provided by the staff in the lounge.

We can't praise the staff on the Gold Floor enough for what they did for us, and I'm sure for other residents also, but they made us feel as if we were the only people there. This made our holiday/wedding so special. A trip we will never forget.

I would urge anyone who is thinking of going to Banff to stay on the Gold Floor at the Banff Springs and to use the facilities in the hotel. This is one experience you will talk about again, and again and again.

I'm still excited writing about it, and would go back tomorrow.
