The room was nice with a large bathroom and a fireplace. The service was good as well. The room did smell a bit funny, but we eventually got used to it. We at the restaurant attached to it for breakfast and it was very expensive for an ordinary breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights, January 2012. Clean, quiet hotel, close to everything, beautiful room. Could not be better. Skiid Norquay, Lake Louise and Sunshine on three succesive days. Sign up for Delta Value card before if you want late checkout and maybe a free upgrade.

So my wife and I based our anniversary stay on the pictures of the king executive suite. The room is their most expensive and for the price the room is very nice and clean. However there wasn't many reviews about it. What disappointed us the room is located beside the elevators, we could constantly hear the ding of the elevator, loud voices and the sound of the cleaning crew was so loud that it actually woke us up. The pool is nice and well kept but very shallow and not very big. The evergreen restaurant is located in the lobby and for the dinner service a 6pm there was a total of 4 people dining. Our food was bland, burnt and very expensive! The service was poor, our waiter socialized more with the staff and was kind of loud and bossy. I looked for a manager but all I found was a bunch of young kids running the place. Too much joking around and not enough thought went into preparing the food and caring for the customers especially since there was more staff than patrons! Would I recommend the hotel to friends? Yes it is a nice hotel that is very clean and well kept plus underground parking! The downside is their top of the line room is nice but too noisy for us!
