“THE NAME SAYS EVERYTHING”

The Name says Everything. It's truly paradise, and big like a little village.

There are 3 resturants.El Pescatore,( Italian Sea food( Next to mall on Marina)) The Mayapan ( Mexican food) and TheTulum witch changes evryday ( Seafood, BBQ ect) They're all very good! There are 2 pools 4 jacuzzies. all have crocodile slide! really cool and right outside hotel ( literaly) theres the private resort mini mall Paradise Plaza... It has 2 very small food courts with many resturants. It has a super market. It's a nice size... Also the rooms are very cozy. We got a two bedroom standard room for a Good Price. One room with a king bed and a private bathroom. And the other with a bedroom connecting to the entrance hall, and a Washer & Dryer. In Jan.- Feb. and early March full of Americans And Canadians!

I'd rate Paradise Village Resort NV in total: 4 1/2 stars.

“For the elderly and small children”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

We had a penthouse suite which was fantastic. However, this place is for retirees and small children. All bars and restaurants close at 10:00 or 10:30 and if you want to be out later than that you pay for a taxi to travel to town (25 minutes) or find a wayward place in the middle of nowhere. One pool is obnoxiously loud, crowded and has pumping music and screaming kids. The other pool, the "quiet pool" is for adults, or, grumpy seniors. You can't even use the water slide at it. We also tried to order room service at midnight (offered 10pm to 6am) and it was an ordeal, they at first refused to help us and then only did so when we complained. There is not enough to do at this place to warrant staying so far away from Puerto Vallarta, you will get cabin fever after day 2.

Room Tip: The sliding doors all say "keep closed at all times" which makes NO sense. Using A/C only...

“This Village is truly Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

Just returned from our 7th visit to the Paradise Village Resort in Nuevo Vallarta. For those of you not familiar with the location, it is just north of Puerto Vallarta. Our stays here have always been enjoyable. Accommodations are first class as are the people that run it. It is located directly on the beach. And it's quite a beach.....about 50 yds wide and bordered on one side by an inlet that runs into the nearby marina. So you have fewer people on this beach even though it is so spectacular. Resort has 5 or 6 restaurants on site to choose from. You can go all-inclusive if you want but it is not necessary. We like to visit nearby restaurants now and then so we don't do the AI. One quiet pool and one main pool are both beautiful and large. More families with children at the main pool. Two Hot Tubs are also on the property. There is a pretty good size shopping mall within walking distance. You'll find a grocery store at the mall too so as to stock up on staples for your room. An on-site mini zoo is also on the grounds with tigers and leopards along with exotic birds. Tennis courts are also on the grounds. A championship golf course, El Tigre, is connected to the resort and it's a wonderful and challenging layout. Finally, it has a Sports and Racquet club and workout facilities and a world class spa. Overall, it is simply fantastic. You can't go wrong with this place. Check it out.

Room Tip: Ocean side rooms are noisier than the Marina side but have the better view of the Bay.

“Great Re wesort”

What a resort!
Number 1 - the beach is unbelieveable and long for walking. The waves are great for boogie boarding.
Number 2 - the food - excellent - I have been at other all inclusives and this is by far the best. The food was great at the buffet and you also can order from the menu. The rib eyes were my favorite.
Number 3 - the tigers - they had 2 cubs that I had to check in with every day. Trouble - trouble.
Number 4 - water taxi to vallarta Adventures - made life so easy
Number 5 - the waiters - friendly and easy to talk to. Made some friends.

I also had the experience of releasing baby turtles to the ocean and even saw a turtle lay her eggs on the beach. Eco big time!

I rate this place as a 5+ resort and will definitely be back

“Excellent in every sense - But agree with crazy shut down time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

At the start I need to say that this resort is truly 5 stars but for one reason - at 1030 at night it shuts down tighter than a frogs bum. Everything else about the resort is absolutely PERFECT. Best food and drinks ever ( make sure to go all inclusive - I assume it can get pricey on a " pay as you go plan". The facilities are absolutely some of the best I have ever seen. The rooms were great. I have written some pretty tough reviews of other places on trip advisor but I can say the only fault I find is that there is no place to even get a drink ( short of a 20 minute cab ride downtown) after 1030. Really, for the love of God Paradise Village, you have about 10 bars- cant you keep one of me open to at least midnight?

Other than that the resort is excellent. It is one of the best we have ever stayed at and we will for sure be back. We will just stock the fridge in the room and party in the room after 10pm. Oh well - that is a small price to pay.

Total evaluation is 4.5 out of 5 This is the highest rating I have ever gave on trip advisor.

Room Tip: Frankly, all rooms are great. No real need to upgrade because jr. Suites are excellent. Theone bedro...
