We booked this place because it´s moderate price and the closeness to the boarder. Our plane arrived to Mexicali late at night and we were only going to sleep some hours before continuing to USA. This how ever turned out to be a terrible idea. We felt completely unsafe the whole time. Drunk people shouting outside, cars coming and leaving and a really filthy room. Even in daylight the place felt unsafe. Maybe this is the cause for this area of town, I don´t know, but we are certainly not coming back.
