We booked this hotel through a travel agent at a bus station in Apizaco, Tlaxcala(bad decision on our part). Major problem: lighting in the hallways did not work. THIS created unsafe conditions because you could get raped,mugged and even murdered there. You couldn't even see the keycard entry device on your hotel door. Luckily I brought a small flashlight with me. So I went to the front desk and explained the the problem the girl gave me some lame that the sensors were not working and there was nothing she could do about it. I told here that we didn't have enough towels in the room and she coldly responded "algo mas". First, please donot reserve through any bus station, and secondly, avoid this hotel like the plague and go with one that you know.

When we got to this hotel we were given a room with no air conditioning, then we were given another room and this room had no electricity. We paid for two night and the next morning we were charge forced to pay three nights! There were too many insects in the rooms, and we were bitten by a lot of mosquitos. I got sick at this hotel. My family was very uncofortable and unhappy with this hotel. The staff was not friendly at all and i would not recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to go to veracruz. I would think we would have been treated ok concidering we are mexican.

We stayed here during the hotel's off season. This basically meant we almost had the pool and the beach to ourselves. We weren't sure about staying here at first, as the lobby was pretty standard and after two weeks of backpacking we wanted to have one day devoted to relaxing at a hotel. However, the room was very clean and spacious. We had a view of the pool, which was large, blue, and had plently of deck chairs in the shade. The beach was just a walk across the street. Admittedly, the water in the ocean is a little brown, but it is so warm it doesn't matter! Breakfast was included, and was more than adequate. We also ate there later on in the afternoon, which was fine, but don't try the onion rings unless you like them sweet!
