For once I fully disagree with most of the excellent reviews here and because of them we spent a bad night and immediately changed hotel. We actually changed hotel upon arrival but had already paid the first night so we stayed 1 night.
The only good thing is the location, but go next door (Posada del Cafeto) and get great location and great everything else.
For once, you might wonder why on the web site you never see a bedroom but only small details of the lobby: bad sign, I should have seen it coming.
My brother stayed on the ground floor, the room was super small and very dark because many plants were in front of his tiny window. We went upstairs but there was no anymore light because our bedroom had been cut in 2 and since the window had been in the center of what could have been a decent room, we had a very small window in the corner of the room. We had to walk on our profile to go around the bed and to the bathroom (with shabby towels despite the embroidery). The bed cover was very suspicious and the neighbors very loud even late with no intervention from the reception to get them to quiet down. And the worse was to come: starting 5am zillion of trucks using the road in front of the hotel - despite being in the back of the hotel, there was an echo (not on ground floor) on first floor and it felt like our bed was in the street.
Also the parking space was expensive - it should have been free for guests.
