I/we have been staying at this resort since 07 a few times a year and my fiance has been vacationing here even longer. We have vacationed with my two teenage daughters last 4th of July and they loved it and can't wait to go back! We have stayed in many of the different condo's and houses and have never had a bad experience and we especially have NEVER seen one roach! I met my now fiance at the resort in 07 and we love this place so much we are getting married here this October! It's a gem in the dessert especially since we can drive 6 hours to get to it and this resort is perfect for family or just a bunch of friends who want to have fun for a quick trip on any weekend! You can't beat the price because you feel like your somewhere to the likes of Hawaii and this luxurious resort that's not to big you can get lost in is just priceless! We never hesitate when we want to take a weekend trip......Las Palmas in Rocky Point is first on our list!

“Beautiful house infested with roaches”

We stayed at Las Palmas in June 2010. We were a large group attending a wedding. Our house was no. 15. It was a beautiful home but came to find out it was infested with roaches, they were everywhere and would get into everything. We paid high dollar to stay here and the ocean view was beautiful but I did not wish to share my vacation or my family's food with these nasty critters. Could not wait to leave.

“Wonderful family resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2010

Me, my husband, and our two teenagers stayed at the Las Palmas in April. It was great. Perfect for a family event like ours. The kids enjoyed the trip every bit as much as me and my husband. The slide at the pool was their favorite. We booked our room through Sea Side Reservations which was very helpful and simple. They really seemed to know their stuff. We loved the customer service everywhere we went. If you're wanting to take a family trip or if its just a couple, I'd definitely recommend staying at Las Palmas and i look forward to going again.

“Wow! Fully equipped Condo, ocean front, large deck, good relaxation”

Stayed in 504 Grande. Never have I ever stayed in a rented condo so complete with amenties. Everything you want is there. The ocean front deck has a lovely hand painted mural on a complete wall. We slept in the King size bed with ocean views and it was memerable. The kids slept in the queen size bunks, again with an ocean views and we very comfortable. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. There were six of us and we all had great beds and lots of space. It was helpful to have two complete bathrooms and in suite laundry. The very large Plasma TV and DVD/CD player helped to quite the kids down in the evening, and after they went to bed, we listened to music played on the Stereo.
The ocean here is memorable. The pools were clean and the kids enjoyed them very much.

This condo unit was a great choice.

Stayed for 4 days, nice condo's, nice pools, pool bar with $0.90 sodas , $3.00 cocktails and $1.50 beers, un-fortunualy there is not always somebody present and food is so-so, It's not a 5 star resort but definatly worth the money and right on the beach with jet ski rentals $50/hr, banana boot rides for $5 pp and tidal pools
