“Love the princesa”

Me and my family love going to Rocky Point. But staying in a place like the Princesa just makes it that much better. The service was great and when we got to our condo it was very clean and well equipped. There is so much to do in Rocky Point. Sand dunes, fishing, markets, hiking, boating, swimming. The list just goes on and on. There is definitely something out there for everyone. I loved staying at the Princesa because its very peaceful, is close to all kinds of activities, and has great security which is perfect when taking three little ones along. If you're looking and heading out to Rocky Point give the Princesa a look. I bet you'll like what you see.

“Paradise in Mexico-just realize it's Mexico !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2010

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo ( B309) from Jan.2- 23 and it was absolutely beautiful . We dealt directly with the owners, so got a much better price ( go to www.bestvacationcondo.com) and they were fantastic to deal with. Since it's Mexico, we ran into a few problems, and all we had to do was contact the owners, or Victor at the front desk, and things were resolved. The resort is a little far from Old Port, so you need a vehicle. The place was pretty well deserted, because of the ailing economy, so we felt like we were in our very own place ! There are 3 pools, but only one was heated, and the grounds were immaculate. We were supposed to get daily maid service, but after day 3 without a maid, we called the desk - speak only to Victor, nobody else seems too inclined to act ! - and then the maids started coming more often, although still not every day. The T.V. service is really bad, and since the weather was bad near the end of the stay, we wished it was better - only 4 channels, one of which is Spanish. We went to the homeowners Assn. office and they said they were working on it. You should get free water bottles; after waiting for 3 days, I called the office and was told we'd have to pay for more - we had to clear that up with Victor, too. Internet service was iffy, best outside on the patio. We spent a lot of time in Old Port, and the merchants were all really friendly .Look up Miguel down by the Malecon, he's awesome, and needs business !

“This Is the Way To Experience Mexico”

We have traveled several times to Puerto Penaso and stayed at La Princesa, our friend owns the condo so we can say much about blind renting a condo there, but what we can say applies to all. The view is amazing. You are right on the beach. There are three pools and each has a children's pool as well. There is a "sports bar" but not very active with pool tables and T.V.s. They have a mini restaurant and a store you can by canned goods or fresh avocado. If you are going expecting 5 star, you will be disappointed, but if you are going expecting a very nice condo with two rooms, living, dining and kitchen and balcony, you won't be disappointed. We took our two children and my brother and his wife. It was the most relaxing vacation I've ever taken. You wake up in the morning...eat food you brought from the U.S. Go down to the beach and search for shells, take a dip in the pool with the kiddos, go up an nap, maybe go to the market, dune buggy, a fishing adventure, or shopping, then have a bbq, swim more and just enjoy life. It is also a very nice way to experience Mexico. We've been all over Mexico and for first-timers, you'll get real Mexico, but in an environment where most speak english pretty well. The seafood is pretty darn amazing as well!

“Loved the Condo Unit!”

I was a little wary, as a woman, traveling with a friend of mine and our combined seven children to Puerto Penasco, but it was easy, safe, closer than San Deigo, and the beach was much prettier and less crowded then the ones I have been to in Southren California. We stayed in unit D201 and I felt like we had plenty of space, even though there was 9 of us all together. The bed was very comfortable and there was every amenity of home available. I am going back in September, with my Husband, to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversity.

“Gorgeous View and Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2007

We had a great time at the Princessa. We had a 2 room condo that had a fantastic view of a beautiful beach. The condo was nicely furnished
and had everything we needed. The beach was just a few steps from our
room. When we got tired of playing in the warm water and gentle waves, we swam in one of the 3 pools. There were plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. The small store on the premises had all the essentials we needed. Check in and out was fast and easy. The resort felt very clean and safe. This was a wonderful place to stay for families, or couples. May be a little too quiet for college students.
We can hardly wait to go back!
