great hotel good hospitality next to major attractions/restaurants/with spa/massage !

Last April my friends surprised me with tickets to the Palenque in Aguascalientes. We needed a hotel last minute. We paid an exuberant amount for a hotel last minute, yet we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is on the road entering Aguascalientes from Guadalajara. The hotel is a more than a 2 star hotel. Its more like a Hampton Inn or Marriot Courtyard type of hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooms can comfortably fit four people in a two double bed room.There is a garage with security on staff. We parked our car and took a short taxi ride to downtown. I think we paid $5. This year I am returning and booked ahead ot time. If you are going to the Fiesta de San Marcos book months ahead for a room. I will be staying here again. While at the Fiesta try to get tickets to the Palenque. It was a great experience. We saw the Rey himself, Vicente Fernandez!! There is no better way to experience a live concert. Aguascalientes itself is a lovely city. Very colonial and reminds me of San Luis Potosi my home state.
