A group of us stayed at Plum Tree House over New Years' Eve and we had such a great stay.
The rooms were spacious, very clean and furnished with the comfiest beds, complimentary toiletries and towels and flatscreen tvs. The cooked breakfast was perfect and we were made so welcome.
We would recommend Plum Tree House to everyone!

Plumtree House in Brigsteer was a wonderful experience. The hosts make you feel extremely welcome and the surrounds are absolutley beautiful. The rooms are warm and cosy and well fitted out with ensuites, tea,coffee and TV. Highly recommend staying at Plumtree House for a lovely, relaxing getaway!

My wife and I spent our holiday this year in Scotland. Travelling from Bristol we decided to break the journey north and booked an overnight stay at Plumtree House because it is near to the Lake District but convenient for the M6.
The house is in the lovely village of Brigsteer. We had a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom and great views from the window. A walk from the front door took us up to Scout Scar which has superb panoramic views of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
We were very well looked after at Plumtree House and very much hope to visit again in the future.

My wife and I together with our two friends and our dogs spent a great weekend at Plumtree House. Our friends chose the guest house as they were getting married at Kendal registry Office.
The village of Brigsteer is beautiful and has an excellent local pub which serves really good food. The village is ideally situated giving access to the Lakes and the Coast and with lovely scenery on the doorstep.
The proprietors Mike and Maureen could not have been more welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that our friends Wedding weekend was extra special. Nothing was too much trouble. The cooked Breakfast was as good as any I have had.
Maureen was happy to point out a number of walks that could be started straight from the front door of the house.
The rooms were ample size (en-suite and with digital TV ) the beds comfortable and the views from the window were great. I have nothing negative to say about this place and will be staying there again next time we are in that part of the country.
