“Great Vacation”

We stayed in a Royal Jr. Suite. This was our first time to Rivera Maya. We went with a group of 5 other couples. We were the only ones in our group that were first timers. The rooms were top rate and the restaurants exceeded our expectations. The resort is huge and transportation is provided. I found the lazy river and pools at the spa a great place to visit in the morning and went back in the late afternoon another day. We took a trip to Tolum and visited the Mayan site. That is a must see. We did have a private section of beach with extra chairs and beds.
We will try to make this trip next year. I know some couples in our group have been there 3 years straight. We sure hope to be back in 2013.

Room Tip: Upgrade to Royal Suites.

“Fabulous Trip Great Place”

We stayed in the Royal Mayan Suite which had the river access and you could jaunt around on a canoe if you are more skilled than we were. We tryed my Fiancee fell in not once but twice it was hillarious. It was fun to be able to walk or take a boat or to take thier little golf carts and mini train. The resort is attached to the rest of the Palladium hotels and it is just so big you could get lost. You meet so many different types of people and you have a blast. I was so amazed at all the natural beauty surrounding this resort. I have to say it was so wonderful and getting engaged there made it even more so wonderful.

When you stay in the Royal side of Palladium you do get special privledges such as reservations at the restaurants on the entire resort. Access to El Jardain for breakfast and dinner anytime which is a fabulous restaurant small quaint and very intimate. The Slat water pool was not to our liking but the beach was massive a little rocky but huge. There was a special section for Royal guests only on the beach with Bali Beds and a dedicated waitress.

I want to thank everyone there but esspecially one Butler Alma who went out of her way to make my Engagement and Birthday all that extra special and her friends that helped her.

I would recomend this Resort whole haertedly.

Room Tip: All the rooms in the Royal section are nice next time I think i would just go with the Junior Suite...

I am not a person to sit and write hugs reviews, so I'll try to make this short. I have no idea where the bad reviews come from. My wife and I had a super great time at the Royal Suites. Our Jr. Suite was more then we needed, the grounds and the beach were amazing, I’ll say that again the grounds and the beach were amazing. The staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The food was always great no matter which restaurant or buffet we ate at. Everything we requested was done and then some. I know you can't make everyone happy so there will always be complaints, but there has to be a reason why almost every guest we talked to while we were there had been back two or more times, some six and seven times. There was even a couple there that stay every year for three months! I would say don’t waste your time anywhere else, book at the Royal Suites, and yes it is defiantly worth it to stay at the Royal over the other four parts of the resort.

Room Tip: The only tip I would give is to book a privet resort transfer from the airport. Much faster than th...

The Royal Side was small and private just for aduts. it has A nice bar and the restarant EL JARDAIN was very good we had breakfast there every morning.the 4 other properties are very big but you have drivers to take you where you want. the buttlers were more like a CONCIERGE SERVICE but they were very nice and helpful. loved it had a great time and will go back.
You can order lobster at any restarant you want at no charge.
