We had to stop in Rio Verde during a drive across Mexico. San Luis Potosi tourist board recommended this hotel as the best option and for a brief overnight stop it was fine. Rooms were basic and motel like, not the cleanest but perfectly adequate. Beds were comfy. You have to leave a deposit in order to get a remote control for the TV. There is a security guard on the parking area at all times. They have a small pool, which was clean, and a good restaurant. The hotel staff recommended a visit to the hot water pools, media luna, a 10 minute drive out of town and that was a real treat
