Good hotel! Not great...but solidly good. For $50 you get a view, a quiet excellent, restaurant/bar, quiet public seating areas to watch the world go by and you are in the very center of SLPotosi. You can shop till you drop... your exess baggage fees on the airline counter. Or just sit in an open air restaurant above the square. The hotel is right in the middle of everything.
It's an older hotel with some 1970's detail still hanging around but a decent overall modern package.
Lots of hot water and water pressure. Like so many hotels in Mexico, the taps can be reversed and the hot water tank can be is waaaaay far away. So before you think there's no hot water, try each tap and let them run...a crime in an arid environment like this but it's gotta be done.
It is surprisingly quiet here at night. Their is the usual up to 11 pm bustle but the center is dead from then until 6:30
Excellent value, . .I'm recommending this hotel to my company as a recommendation for staff tavelling through.
