Rooms were large and clean , mine was bottom floor off the pool, but no noise.Good security, a mall , out the hotel to the right and 1/2 mile up the street is good, and an OXXO is arouind the corner for snacks and drinks.
Breakfast buffet very good, and menu food was ok.
TIP: Sunday afternoon was either leftovers or food no one wanted as it just sat on the line and got hard and cold.

Good business center, nice pool, tennis courts, good securioty and hotel transportation to the airport: 25 minutes.

This older hotel has a very nice, clean lobby which didn't lend itself to the style of hotel it is: two floor horizontal lay out with room doors to the outside. The check in was smooth. The room was large with a small fridge and LCD TV. The desk was convenient and it had free wireless which worked flawless. The king-size bed was hard but comfortable. The AC worked well. My only complaint was that it looked run down especially the bathroom with older tub and faucets that lost its luster. The bathroom could also have been cleaner I thought. It's in need of updating. I thought it was quiet and I slept well.
Breakfast at the restaurant was good with Mexican-style food at the buffet. They did make omelets to order. Check out went well. I'd probably go back next time though I might try the nearby Holiday Inn Express....

The reviews in Trip Advisor were correct. What is it with the tents. We ended up in smoking rooms and were unable to change the rooms. The staff seemed inexperienced and check out took a while.

I'm not sure why this place isn't rated higher. We stayed at the Westin for a few days and were less than impressed with the food, the pool, and the mosquitos in the rooms.

We moved to the Holiday and really enjoyed it. There's nothing within walking distance, but it's close to both the industrial zone and the old city (5-10 minute drive from each) plus everyone at the hotel was very nice, with good food and a great pool. Book the executive floor, which has nicer rooms and sometimes an evening spread. If there's no evening spread, go to the front desk and ask for a drink voucher for the downstairs lounge.
