The rooms were clean, bathroom and shower was great, service friendly. This is located in the middle of the historic area of the city and is close to many attractions and restaurants. The pool is a bit cool, but probably OK if it's one of those 90 degrees and higher days. The pool area is quiet and relaxing and uncrowded.

We stayed for 4 nites. There is a Sports bar with good band on the weekends. The hotel is right in the downtown disrict. Try to get a room on upper floors or on the backside as the street is noisy late at nite as well as early in the morning

I would like to start off by saying that as a child my family would stay at this hotel and I must say that there was nothing bad to say about this place. Until now. Way in advance I planned a trip to visit SLP. I emailed the hotel to request a balcony room and assumed everything was taken care of.

We arrive at the hotel tired and ready to get some rest. Upon arrival the staff was not friendly and lets just say that maybe they we're having a bad day but when I recieved my reservations and was told that I didn't request a balcony room I was pretty upset. I informed them that the reservations were made only with the intention that I would recieve a room with a balcony. I had the emails to prove that I reserved a room with a balcony. We didn't get the room we wanted and they didn't offer any explantion. We took the room regardless...BIG MISTAKE!

The room was dark and smelled like smoke. As we were getting ready to visit family the maid unlocked the door but how can she unlock the door WITH THE DEAD BOLT? Only managment should be able to unlock a dead bolt door. Off we went to visit our family. Feeling uneasy we went back to the hotel and gathered our belongings and checked out from the hotel. We didn't care that we had to pay for 1 nights stay. We were glad to get the heck out of this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in August. San Luis Potosi is a beautiful city which is unspoilt by tourism, and it has some great architecture and places to eat and drink. The Panorama hotel is in a great location for exploring the city, and the views from rooms on the higher floors are fantastic. Our room was a good size with air conditioning, although the bed was quite firm - the shower was great and the room was cleaned to a good standard. However, some of our friends who were staying in a room on our floor were disturbed during the night by what can only be described as 'a lady of the night' working out of the room next door to them. Several male guests were seen going in and out of the room, but the hotel staff did not seem that concerned!!
