When we got there the room we booked was very dark and quite small,. There was no refrigorator or coffee making possibility. We asked if there was anything else available. We took the appartment, which had a living room/kitchen, two bedrooms and a pivate terrace. It was however quite a bit more expensive. The place definitely needs some maintenance soon or it will definitely get worse. The staff however was very friendly and the place was clean.
From what we have seen there weren't really a lot of very good hotels in Barra, so it is probably one of the bests. The restaurant wasn't open when we were there.

It's difficult to fault the Delfin. The welcome is warm & whilst the rooms are basic it is clean & 2 minutes away from all the "attractions" Barra has to offer. For the price I paid it's excellent value. As it was low season there was hardly anyone around & the small pool was ideal for relaxing out of the glare of the Mexican sun.

Nice and well maintained little hotel situated in quaint barra de navidad.
~ Walking distance to all there is but tranquil to get quality rest
~ night guard which throughout the entire night
~ nice cosy rooms with options of well equipped apartments and roof top with nice view
~ nice heated pool to chill out
~ Ultra hospitable couple maintaining the hotel whom will absolutely go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and welcomed
~ good value for its price with unbeatable hospitality

I was taking a solo trip in mexico and stayed at hotel delfin for 3 nights. The rooms are spottless and the views from the upper floors are fantastic!!!! The young couple that runs and owns the hotel are so nice and very helpful with anything and every question you may have!!!! Beautiful pool to cool off in and close walk to great restraunts and bars!!!!!
