It was such a great place, take your pick on the beach, which way do you want to go. MIles and miles of beach. Close to local towns for shopping and markets It is not an all inclusive resort which we loved, you would need to rent a vehicle or at least have a bicycle or moped. There is a lady that comes every afternoon with fresh fruit and vegetables. We sat on the balcony and watched the whales in the ocean and the flying mantaray. While walking on the beach we came across people fishing from shore. The condo had all the modern conveniences of home. Internet, washer/dryer, dish washer, air conditioning, but we chose to sleep with the sliding glass doors open. A great place to vacation ancd close to small towns for dinner and partying.

I love this place! The grounds are well maintained with trees, flowering shrubs and beautiful swimming pools. I felt very much at home...comfortable beds, spacious living area, full kitchen, laundry facilities and access to barbeques on the roof level. It was great to have the convenience of the on-site store for things like beer, bread and sun lotion. Fresh fruit and vegetables were available from the vendor that came by the resort or from the grocery store in Cihuatlan. When dining out was the option, I had the best hamburgers and margaritas at the pool bar and the Red Turtle Grill served up an elegant dinner on our last night.
Days were spent walking on the beach, relaxing in the sun while watching for whales or schools of manta rays on the ocean and taking day trips into nearby communities. A rental vehicle was used to travel around the region.

I will be staying at the Playa Grande for my third time in February and I can't wait. When your driving to the resort you come around the corner on the road and it is like an Oasis sticking out of no where.
Staff are so friendly, pool bar is a great place to have lunch and drinks.
The Condo's themselves are beautiful, the decks are awesome with the open folding windows that we never close and enjoy the ocean breezes and sounds of the waves all day and night.
It is a great Value.
Love going into Barra Navidad and Melaque for shopping and the odd meal.
Great fun would highly recommend it here.
You can get the spa ladies from town to come directly to your room for a great pedi, mani or massage just sign up at the lobby desk.

Beautiful new condominium resort just north of Manzanillo airport, or few hours south of Puerto Vallarta, we flew into Puerto Vallarta and rented a car and drove to Playa Grande. The beach extends for miles both directions for long leisurely walks. There is a 27 hole golf course within minutes. The pool area is gorgeous very nice layout with pool bar and restaurant which serves one of the best burgers we have had. There is restaurant and bar on site for evening meals or drinks as well. All food served is top notch with friendly waiters and bar tender. The condos are very modern and well stocked. Full kitchen with dishwashers full fridges and gas range. Washer and dryer also in unit. Most amazing views from large balcony terrace. Patio doors fold back accordion style to open the entire front wall of your unit. If you want to explore Manzanillo is just 45 minutes away, also smaller towns of Barra de Navida, Mazanilla and Melague within 20 minutes to explore and shop. Boats for snorkeling fishing or site seeing can be chartered out of Colimilla which is just 10 minutes away and you will catch fish.
If you wish to just stay put everything you need is right there at resort. Small convenience store, fresh produce vendor comes once a week as well as local crafts, jewelery and art works displayed and sold on site a few days a week. You may also be lucky enough to release sea turtles at night. Yoga classes and full gym also available.
