On top of the hill above Durdle door, this camp site was the nicest we ever stayed in. I had paid more to go to a posh Cromer site and it wasn't anywhere near as good as this site. Even though we went on high summer there was plenty of room and everything was exceptionally clean and well presented. The site looked brand new apart from the mature hedges and trees but apparently it wasn't so it is a real feat that it looked so spotless with nothing broken or out of place, fantastically equipped toilets and showers with plug sockets to use hand dryers and lots of lights and mirrors and worksurfaces.and great ventilation too. The playground was great with chunky wooden had made swings galore frames and zip lines, slides and assault courses. The clothes washing facilities were professional standard and quick to use as well as cheap. The reception is manned 24 hours a day, the pub is great with good food and an interesting blend on the menu. All of this comes a poor second to the natural attractions- Durdle Door and man o war coves as well as lulworth and the heaths in between. We saw glow worms for the fist time ever near the barrow on top of the down next to the campsite and many rare flowers. Word of warning- pick your moment to go as if it had been windy and rainy then the site is very exposed! We will be going again and luckily we had fantastic weather
