This Hotel has serious smell problems thru the interior shafts that share most bathrooms in interior bedrooms. You could hear the toilets flushing and then smell everything. Also the noise from other rooms such as tv, conversations, employees, are loud and bothersome--this is not the noise from the street like one would expect is OK. The overall ambience is UNinviting, employees are rather unfriendly and were busy or unavaiable. Breakfast was bad: stale bread, cold coffee and hard fruit. The shower had backup sewerage issues which I rather not discuss.
Make sure you don´t stay here even though the location is great.

This hotel seems to have a split personality. Some of the rooms in the front of the hotel have been renovated and are fairly nice. If you stay be SURE to get one of those. I didn't and regretted it. I was show one of the rooms afterwards and it was much nicer but I still don't think I'd stay again.

We were stuck in a small room with one window opening to a shaft going up to the roof. All the bathrooms also vented into this shaft so we could suffocate from heat or smell like a bathroom. The noise in the older rooms is very bad too. Someone had their tv playing very loudly and we could hear it like it was in our room. Barely had any sleep and we checked out after the first night because we couldn't spend another there.

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in, in Mexico. Very conveniently located on the Zocalo. Our room was fairly small, but the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom had a toilet and sink that were proudly taped up with a sign saying that they had been "Disinfected for our convenience"
Which made me happy, no end.

We had a nice meal in the restaurant, and would certainly stay here again should we come back.

The only downside was the noise coming from the main square, but I think that's a fact of life in Mexico, light sleepers beware!

We ask for the Junior Suite since there is a very small different in price with the standard one: It was a good choise
The room was big and the bathroom very nice

The breakfast it included and good !

Only inconvenient, the walls are a bit thin.
