We stayed here for one week and had a great room overlooking the cathedral and zocalo. Great location I guess except it's a busy location. This is definitely where the action is. Different restaurants around the zocalo have live music every night.

Pillows were really hard. Breakfast was very nice with a full buffet each morning. Dinner was delicious here also.

The Hotel Royalty is the best value in Puebla City! We have been travelling through the City for years and always end up at the Hotel Royalty. We've tried other places, but realized, why go anywhere else; this is the best. It's right on the Zocala... within walking distance of all of the best Centro Historico sights. The restaurant in the hotel has good food and great atmosphere at the street seating.

We'll be back, time and again!

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Royalty in May for 3 days on our way to Oaxaca. It was a pleasant stay. The location is great. We walked to most of Puebla' major attractions easily. Lots of restaurants and college students in this area so walking around at dinner time was fine. This is not a luxury hotel but it is clean and breakfast is included. We had no problem connecting to the internet in our room. We would certainly stay again.

Well, Puebla is an interesting town with a great Basilica. The Royalton is across the street from that Basilica, but that is the extent of its advantages. The rooms are old and while they appear clean, they really are not that clean by american standards.. The service is hesitant to say the least and the ambient noise night and day is not tolerable.

The restaurant's food when you can get served is not that great either. Basically the Royalton was really disappointing. To add insult to injury they claim to have parking, they do have parking but it is a half of a mile away!!!!!
