“Affordable luxury”

This place is outstanding. Spacious, airy rooms with, in our case, a huge balcony with table and umbrella, an enormous bathroom and dressing room. Plenty of sitting room as well. The position, a short walk to the art district and the zocalo, is great. Casareyna was not the most expensive place we stayed at, but it was the most comfortable. Its associated restaurant, where we ate twice, was terrific with a great range of upscale Mexican food. I rated the meals we had here more highly than our visits to some of Puebla's much vaunted eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not that television was something we counted on, it was still good to catch some cable news and the occasional English language movie after three weeks' TV abstinence.

“One of the Nicest Hotels I've Ever Stayed In”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

Anzie and I aren't much on hyperbole, but Casareyna definitely exceeded all expectations.
The rooms are superbly decorated with traditional carpets and talavera sinks. The restaurant was fabulous -- breakfast was perfect!

Great location -- only four blocks from the Zocalo; across, the street from a tasteful mall with a Cineplex. (We saw Sherlock Holmes in English).

What made it so wonderful was the staff. Special kudos go to Rodriguez, Manager, and Maria, front desk.

Thank you all for making our stay in Puebla so memorable.

Chuck & Anne

My large family and I stayed here and we LOVED it. The hotel is beautiful and the decoration is simple, tasteful and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler and my family and I will be staying here ever time we go to Puebla.

“excelente experiencia”

My girlfriend and I visited Puebla after attending our friend's wedding in Mexico City. We discovered the hotel thru the myriad of good reviews via Tripadvisor.co, and Hotels.com. Upon arrival at Casareyna, we knew immediately we had made the right choice.

The hotel reviews posted previously are on the mark. The staff are gracious, very helpful and provided an excellent guest experience. The hotel itself was - simply put - perfect. From its location, to our room and the decor throughout the property, everything was put together with a sublime sensitivity and taste.

The hotel's GM, Rodrigo, is the perfect host. From our arrival thru to our departure, Rodrigo provided us with invaluable insights and suggestions during our stay in Puebla. Muchas gracias Rodrigo!

Finally ... the restaurant is very, very good. The food and service were top notch. Simply stated, it's world-class. What an incredible gem. Even if you do not stay at Casareyna, we would strongly suggest you dine at their restaurant if you find yourself in Puebla. Try their assortment of steaks ... the kitchen does an incredible job. Some of the best steak/meat we've had enjoyed.

Enjoy Hotel Boutique Casareyna!

Room Tip: None necessary. Any of the hotel's 10 rooms are just right.

“One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in”

My family of 11 people (ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 92 years) stayed in Casareyna Hotel over the Xmas holiday. We have all travelled quite a bit, and to a person, we LOVED Casareyna. It is a beautiful property. Both the public areas and individual rooms are lovely -- tastefully furnished and elegant, without being ostentatious or gaudy. The rooms are huge (and we saw 5 of them), and the staff is very accommodating. We only had breakfast in the hotel but it was also generous and delicious. None of us wanted to leave and we all want to go back to Casareyna again.

Room Tip: There are no elevators and all floors are up at least 1 flight of stairs.
