This place is outstanding. Spacious, airy rooms with, in our case, a huge balcony with table and umbrella, an enormous bathroom and dressing room. Plenty of sitting room as well. The position, a short walk to the art district and the zocalo, is great. Casareyna was not the most expensive place we stayed at, but it was the most comfortable. Its associated restaurant, where we ate twice, was terrific with a great range of upscale Mexican food. I rated the meals we had here more highly than our visits to some of Puebla's much vaunted eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not that television was something we counted on, it was still good to catch some cable news and the occasional English language movie after three weeks' TV abstinence.
