This hotel is perfectly located in the historical center of Zacatecas. We parked our car and walked everywhere.
The hotel is adequate, rooms are ok, as are bathrooms.....generally, nothing to complain about.....clean and comfortable, if not luxurious. Our room had a nice view of La Bufa, the fortress area where Pancho Villa's army had a big victory in 1914 over Mexican forces.
Parking for us was simple...there are some spaces right in front of the hotel, reserved for guests....no charge, and our car stayed for 2 nights without problem. I do not know if they have a separate, enclosed parking which can handle more than 3 or 4 cars.
The reception people were friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on-site, but we did not eat there. There are many restaurants in the area, from basic Mexican to quite nice places featuring international food.
Zacatecas is hilly, bring your walking shoes. It is also quite cool, even in summer. Interior Mexico can be quite different weather-wise from the beach areas, especially if altitude is involved, as in Zacatecas.
I recommend a half day tour which can be found on the street in front of the church...there are at least two companies located there, easily recognized by their tram/cable car type vehicles. We took a tour to the Eden Mine and La Bufa fortress. The mine is quite interesting, well-lit, and not difficult at all for 90% of its visitors. The fortress is accessed by teleferico, (a cable car made in Switzerland). There are a few other stops as well. Not all tour tmes offer an English speaking guide.
