The location was centric right near the plaza. They even managed to have free parking for guests in front of the hotel.
The room was nice and fairly new. Since there was no air-conditioning, we decided to open the window to get fresh air. However it turned out to be a BIG mistake!
Our room's window was facing a side alley which I think it was connected to a market. It rained a bit right before it got dark. The rain decided to whipped up this funky smell that I still "savored" these days - it's like opening a fridge which has not been touched in years.
We were traveling with a group of friends. They didn't have the smell problem because their rooms faced different directions.
In the afternoon we took the teleferic to Cerro de la Buffa. Took a photo with Pancho Villa's monument which made a nice souvenir.
Unfortunately we didn't make it to the disco inside the mine at night. I would imagine it's must be very cool (& literally in terms of temperature, too).
But we did join the tour in the morning to explore the mine. It was a delightful tour.
We dined at the hotel restaurant. The food left much to desire...
