Pros:
- Food and drinks fantastic (especially La Frida, poolside chicken ceaser wrap, and room service). Ate at a la carte restauarants the entire time. Outside fire-side martini bar is great
- Exceptional service: room immaculate and cleaned twice daily.
- Poolside entertainment (beach v-ball, ping pong, yoga, water areobics) was fun but not distracting. Beach and tennis courts were ideal.
- Exceptional spa
- Free internet in rooms and by pool.
- Beach is spectacular, no vendors, 180 degree view with both sunrise and sunsets. Beach beds are amazing.
- No Kids.
Potential cons:
- Remote location a potential drawback, but we enjoyed spacious, quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
- Beach is unswimable.
- One main onsite restaurant, but also onsite sushi restaurant, poolside BBQ, and we took advantage of meals at other Peublo bonito hotels for variety (Sunset Beach, Rose, Los Cabos)
- Spa was very pricey (50 min couples massage $295 inc 22% tax and gratuity)
- Timeshare sales pitches which are longer than advertised. However, we did two and recieved $100 of spa for one and round of golf at Puerto Los Cabos for other.
Recomendations:
- Go for all inclusive.
- Rental car for getting to town, golf, other resorts. Free valet parking. Makes remote location less of an issue.
- La Frida at sunset, visit Skypool at PB Sunset Beach
- Consider PB Montecristo estates if more than one couple or a family.
Overall pros much outweighed cons. We will definately consider returning.
