I was anti all inclusive until this hotel. Difference was the food which was great. Rooms nice and they had baby sitting until 10 pm so we could go out for dinner sans kids

We travelled to Dreams Los Cabos for the first time this year and it was our first experience with an All Inclusive resort. The service was very good to exceptional and the facilities were clean and up to date throughout. The food was more than acceptable but watch out for closed restaurants. Each closes on some nights and there doesn't seem to be any advance notice. We ate at all but the Asian and overall the meals were good (but not exceptional). The entertainment was perhaps the only downfall as most of it was amateurish. We would gladly return for another visit. (PS - its cool at night so take a jacket with you!)

We had a great vacation at the Dreams in Puerto Vallarta last year so we were expecting the same standard of excellence at this resort. It was our first visit to this area so were not aware that the resort is located in "The Corridor" which is half way between San Jose and Cabo. About a 20 minute and $25 cab ride in either direction. It has a strange layout and our room was at the far end of the resort so we got lost a couple of times. Better signage would help.
We found the staff to be somewhat indifferent and overall not as friendly or outgoing as the staff at Dreams PV.
We were upgraded to a spacious suite. Our only complaint about the room was the inconsistent water temperature in the shower. You either got scalded or froze.
There is a beach but you are not allowed in to the water because of the dangerous rip tides in the area. Both the pool areas were nice and we enjoyed the option of the adults only or "tranquility pool". There was never an issue getting loungers as the resort was only about 50% occupied.
The Italian restaurant was by far the best of the a-la-cartes and we ended up eating there three nights. The service, food and atmosphere were well above any of the other restaurants. It was cool in the evening and almost all the seating is outdoors. While there were heaters many of them did not work.
The internet service is pay as you go and we were overcharged. it took a half hour of arguing upon check out to get this removed from our bill.
My wife enjoyed the Spa and got the use of the facilities for the day with her massage.
There were good things and bad but overall we were expecting more based on our great experience at Dreams Puerto Vallarta last year.

We stayed us at Dreams for Super Bowl weekend and the service the couldn't have been better or more friendly. Shots outs to Mario, Pepe, Felipe, and numerous others. Everybody couldn't have been nicer.Let me just say one thing: our dreams came true.
