We had a great vacation at the Dreams in Puerto Vallarta last year so we were expecting the same standard of excellence at this resort. It was our first visit to this area so were not aware that the resort is located in "The Corridor" which is half way between San Jose and Cabo. About a 20 minute and $25 cab ride in either direction. It has a strange layout and our room was at the far end of the resort so we got lost a couple of times. Better signage would help.
We found the staff to be somewhat indifferent and overall not as friendly or outgoing as the staff at Dreams PV.
We were upgraded to a spacious suite. Our only complaint about the room was the inconsistent water temperature in the shower. You either got scalded or froze.
There is a beach but you are not allowed in to the water because of the dangerous rip tides in the area. Both the pool areas were nice and we enjoyed the option of the adults only or "tranquility pool". There was never an issue getting loungers as the resort was only about 50% occupied.
The Italian restaurant was by far the best of the a-la-cartes and we ended up eating there three nights. The service, food and atmosphere were well above any of the other restaurants. It was cool in the evening and almost all the seating is outdoors. While there were heaters many of them did not work.
The internet service is pay as you go and we were overcharged. it took a half hour of arguing upon check out to get this removed from our bill.
My wife enjoyed the Spa and got the use of the facilities for the day with her massage.
There were good things and bad but overall we were expecting more based on our great experience at Dreams Puerto Vallarta last year.

We stayed us at Dreams for Super Bowl weekend and the service the couldn't have been better or more friendly. Shots outs to Mario, Pepe, Felipe, and numerous others. Everybody couldn't have been nicer.Let me just say one thing: our dreams came true.

This is our second time to the all-inclusive Dreams Los Cabos. The employees are so very friendly and accommodating, wanting you to relax and have fun! Beautiful presentation on the restaurant foods and the drinks are delicious! Service outstanding as well. Beautiful setting, beautiful beach. We loved to spend the day under a palapa on the beach, nothing like the warm sun and the crashing waves to relax by! We also very much enjoyed seeing IVONNE, the yoga instructor, again. She is great! And yoga on the beach in the morning and/or at sunset - can't get much a much better setting than that! DEANNA, an on-site professional photographer did our beach photos (1 of them is attached). Do have this experience, she makes it so much fun and takes beautiful pictures, both color and black/white. We also very much enjoyed having dinner at Portofino with EMILIO as our server-his humor was great and he was very professional. Don't miss the delicious coffee drinks that KAREN makes at CoCo Cafe, made with ice cream-yum-and she has such a sunny and happy personality while making the perfect drinks! If you have any questions, ask CHRISTY (Chris) at the Information desk-she has all the answers, with great hints about the Cabo area. We also loved the Oceana and Himitsu restaurants for dinner...an undiscovered secret is Oceana at lunch, great menu and quiet and relaxing. Do walk down the beach to see the tide pools. We even saw a few baby sea turtles making their way to the beach. Love this resort!!

Stayed at this property late 2011 on a business meeting. Location is definetly secluded and away from any activity of any kind. The one saving positive feature of this property that keeps me from giving a terrible rating was the room. A very nice large room with great bed and bath had a terrific shower. Air conditioning kept us downright cold at night which was a relief from the daily heat. But after that, this is a waste of time and money for corporate or personal stays. The food is terrible. This stuff is not even cafeteria quality. The drinks are so watered down you soon gain an appreciation for bottled beer. And the staff...who hires these people. To comment further on one meeting break I reported to a staff member that the mens restroom had flooded and water was covering most of the floor. That person said it was not his responsibility and to inform another employee at the nearby desk which I did. Almost two hours later the restroom was the same. So I complained to the desk person and was given the cold shoulder about it not being fixed. Not a sole could have cared. This is an all inclusive mess!!
